Kim, on the other hand, expressed reservations about pursuing Kevin in a confessional.

After meeting Kim, Kevin realised she wasn’t a “rich Malibu want tobe gangster DJ.” Kim’s estranged father helped Kevin find his biological parents. Kevin was a kind and supportive friend to Kim, and feelings grew between the two of them.

“I consider Kim a friend now. Just because she is vulnerable and there is a spark doesn’t mean I should. I want to do it because it is real.”
