Bethenny Frankel has finally found happiness.
The Real Housewives of New York City star, 50, became engaged to Paul Bernon in fall 2018 after the death of her on-again, off-again boyfriend Dennis Shields, according to PEOPLE.
In late 2019, during the couple’s one-year dating anniversary, Frankel told PEOPLE about her relationship with Bernon, “Things are amazing.”
She continued, “He’s a good person who I adore.” “I’m not sure if he’s the yin to my yang, but he’s super chill, calm, and hilarious.”
“He has a pretty nice family as well,” the Skinnygirl mogul added.
Frankel marked the one-year anniversary of their romance with a touching tribute post on Instagram in September.
She added beside a photo of them sitting on the edge of a boat, “Having such a supportive and loving spouse makes me a better person & motivates me to attempt the impossible.” “Many congratulations on your wedding anniversary! I adore you and appreciate everything you’ve done for me this year! ♥️❌⭕️♥️.”
In July 2019, Frankel paid tribute to Bernon on his birthday, calling him “a smart, charming, beautiful, kind, hilarious person” who has “immeasurably enhanced my life.”
“You have brought me great happiness, and I’m very lucky to have you in my life,” Bernon said on his own Instagram on Frankel’s birthday in November 2019.
Since then, Frankel and Bernon have been upfront about their feelings for one another on social media, with the film producer and real estate developer even writing a provocative comment on his then-Instagram girlfriend’s post for her Skinnygirl Sensuality Supplements in February 2020.
According to various accounts, the couple had a brief split last fall. “You know, not everything works out,” she said on The Ellen DeGeneres Show in October, “and so many people have attempted to define my life — our lives — with, ‘When are you getting engaged?’ ‘When are you having a baby?’ ‘When are you getting married?'”

“And I’ve just understood more in life,” Frankel continued, “that everything doesn’t have to sort of end in a blue box and a bow.”
She went on to say: “We’ve had a fantastic connection, and I’m quite pleased with myself. Some things just do not continue, and this is not a terrible thing; it is simply life.”
The couple was pictured holding hands during a trip to Miami less than three months later. They were pictured in Boston later that month holding hands.
Frankel filed for divorce a month after Hoppy, 50, and he married in 2010. Despite agreeing to a financial settlement in July 2016, the ex-couples fought for years over custody of their 10-year-old daughter Bryn.
