Emma Roberts was arrested in Canada for domestic violence after she allegedly struck her actor boyfriend Evan Peters in the face.
Following a fight with her boyfriend, according to TMZ, the 22-year-old niece of actress Julia Roberts was taken into custody on July 7 in Montreal. According to TMZ, the fight left 26-year-old Peters with blood on his hands.
Police were called after a fight was reported in the couple’s hotel room, and they discovered Peters with blood coming out of his nose.
The actress’s representative has stated that the incident was the result of an “unfortunate incident and misunderstanding.”
In addition, the statement stated that Ms. Roberts had been released after questioning and that the couple was working together to move on from the incident.

In accordance with TMZ’s report, Roberts was released hours after her arrest because Peters declined to press charges against her.
According to a source who spoke to the website, the two were allegedly hitting each other, and Roberts was arrested because Peters appeared to have obvious physical injuries.
Despite claims from a law enforcement source that Peters also had a bite mark, a source close to Roberts has stated that the Valentine’s Day actress did not bite him.
It has been reported that the couple has reunited and that they are currently working on Peters’ hit show American Horror Story.
The Scream 4 star and Peters met on the set of Adult World last year and have been seen holding hands and kissing in public since becoming a couple.
The two attended a Halloween party in Beverly Hills last October, where Roberts was dressed in the same iconic outfit her famous aunt wore in the opening scenes of the 1990 film Pretty Woman. They were holding hands throughout the event.
They also attended the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival in Indio, California, in April, where they were joined by other celebrities.
While waiting in line to purchase tickets at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City in May, they shared a kiss on the lips.
As Peters has described her as “the love of my life,” the Nancy Drew actress also appears in FX’s hit horror series, in which his girlfriend has recurring roles.

Representatives for Roberts and Peters have not yet responded to MailOnline’s requests for comment on the matter.
Emma Roberts is the daughter of Eric Roberts, an actor best known for his role in the 1985 film Runaway Train and his struggles with drug addiction. Emma is the youngest of three children.
He was arrested in 1987 for possession of cocaine and marijuana, and he appeared on the reality television show Celebrity Rehab in 2011 to get help for his medical marijuana addiction.
He had been estranged from his famous sister Julia for many years, but the two have since reconciled.
Emma’s next film appearance will be in We’re the Millers, which will be released on August 7 and will star Jennifer Aniston, Jason Sudeikis, and Ed Helms.
During the course of their plan to transport 1,400 pounds of marijuana from Mexico to the United States, Julia, a ‘disturbing 20-year-old runaway,’ poses as Sudeikis and Aniston’s daughter. Emma also appears in the dark comedy as Julia.
