Mary Marquardt And Harrison Ford

After meeting at Ripon College in Ripon, Wisconsin, Harrison and Mary Marquardt, who was born in 1945, married on June 18, 1964. Mary earned a degree in culinary arts and worked in the food sector, while Harrison rose through the ranks of Hollywood. Benjamin, the couple’s first child, was born on September 22, 1966. Willard, their second child, was born on May 14, 1969. Willard operates a boxing facility called Strong Sports Gym and his own fashion brand, Ludwig Clothing Company, while Benjamin followed in his mother’s footsteps and became a renowned chef and restaurateur in Los Angeles. In 1979, the couple decided to call it quits.

After Harrison’s Star Wars co-star Carrie Fisher claimed she and Harrison had an affair while filming the sci-fi blockbuster during the time he was married to Mary, the divorce received considerable attention decades later. Carrie wrote about the three-month tryst in her 2016 biography The Princess Diarist, which she claims took place when she was 19 and Harrison was 33. “I was so inexperienced,” she admitted, “yet I trusted something about him.” “He was thoughtful.” “It was really intense,” Carrie said in an interview with People around the time the book was released. During the week, it was Han and Leia, and on the weekends, it was Carrie and Harrison.”

Calista Flockhart And Harrison Ford

Calista Flockhart was born in Illinois on November 11, 1964, and moved to Hollywood in 1997 to play the main heroine in David E. Kelley’s television series Ally McBeal. She would go on to star in shows like Brothers & Sisters and Supergirl later in her career. Calista met Harrison during her performance at the 2002 Golden Globes, and the two hit it off right away. Because Harrison was still divorced from Melissa, the couple kept their relationship quiet at first, eventually saying “I do” in 2010. Calista’s son Liam, whom Harrison adopted at birth in 2001, would go on to be adopted by Harrison. Despite their 22-year age difference, the lovely couple is stronger than ever. Maybe it’s their shared sense of humor that’s kept them together for nearly two decades! In 2017, Calista told Closer Weekly, “Harrison and I laugh a lot, and comedy is everything to me.”
