Jerry Hall’s divorce from the billionaire Rupert Murdoch is anticipated to include tens of millions of pounds and an $11 million Oxfordshire property.
Less than two months after divorcing, the couple last week ended the legal process. According to reports, Murdoch would gift Hall Holmwood House, a sizable Georgian country house located between Reading and Henley-on-Thames, as part of the settlement.
The 66-year-old former model is also anticipated to acquire ownership of a villa in the south of France, although the Daily Mail reports that the deal does not provide her ownership of any of Murdoch’s several US properties.

The ex-attorney couple announced the end of the divorce process in a joint statement: “Jerry and Rupert Murdoch have finalized their divorce. They still get along well and wish each other luck in the future.
The reasons behind Murdoch’s choice to dissolve his fourth marriage have been the subject of conjecture. After a brief courtship, the pair were married in 2016. To mark the event, Murdoch resigned from Twitter and proclaimed himself “the luckiest AND happiest guy in the world.”
It seems that the long pandemic lockdowns caused the connection to disintegrate. According to several stories, Hall had disagreements with Murdoch’s offspring from his previous marriages. Even more, according to The Daily Beast, Lachlan Murdoch, his heir apparent, assisted in arranging his father’s divorce and discussed potential public relations plans for dealing with the aftermath.
Both sides engaged in a briefing war following the divorce as news accounts of how the breakup transpired. Murdoch allegedly informed Hall through email that he intended to split, then forwarded any follow-up inquiries to his attorneys. In retaliation, Hall allegedly presented Murdoch with divorce papers that referenced “irreconcilable differences” as he was getting ready to board his private plane at RAF Brize Norton.
She requested a judge’s dismissal of the case on Wednesday in Los Angeles so that an out-of-court settlement could be reached.
According to Hall’s court papers, she was residing at the only winery in the city, the Los Angeles property of the Murdoch family. She might have to settle for one of the 11 bedrooms at Holmwood House while looking for another US base.
