Hannah Ann was born and raised in Knoxville, Tennessee, with her younger sister and brother. Because she still lives at home, her parents are not only her role models, but also her landlords. When she’s not murdering it in front of the camera as a model, Hannah Ann is a skilled painter who enjoys dabbling in interior decoration. She works all around the world and would love to find a man to accompany her on her adventures. She has a sweet southern twang, which we all know Peter adores.
Hannah Ann Sluss wanted to keep her connection with boyfriend Jake Funk private, especially following her public breakup with previous Bachelor Peter Weber.
“I wanted to wait to tell everyone about [our relationship] since it was our decision,” the model, 25, told Us Weekly exclusively on Saturday, April 16 at the DIRECTV Space at the Neon Carnival. “We’re pretty private, and for now, it appears to be the greatest option for us.” Things in my past have been made public, and nothing really positive has come of it, in my opinion.”
“Keeping things private and just having our own lives outside of social media makes it more of a true, meaningful relationship for us,” she concluded.
In February, Sluss acknowledged her relationship with the 24-year-old Los Angeles Rams running back by posting footage of herself cheering him on during Super Bowl LVI. While she hasn’t said when she and Funk started dating, the Bachelor Season 24 alum told Us that things got serious shortly.
“We met a few months ago, and we just had an instant connection, and we’ve been virtually inseparable from day one,” Sluss added. “It’s just been extremely fluid and easy getting to know him and us being together and blending our lives together.”
“After a few short weeks, I met his parents, and he met mine, and our parents are now really close friends, which is really great,” she continued. But it’s truly a meant-to-be arrangement, and we’re both quite content.”
Though she and Funk “see a future together,” the Tennessee native made it clear that they’re now focused on “simply enjoying each other and loving living in L.A.” The duo is apparently unconcerned about one other’s pasts, such as Sluss’ appearance on The Bachelor.
“Everyone watched the show back then, and everything was so blown up,” she recounted, “so he absolutely knew [about it].” “However, [he] didn’t seem to know [or go into any] specifics. To be honest, that happened almost three years ago, so it’s not [important] or present in my life now.”
On Season 24 of the ABC dating series, which aired in 2020, Sluss contended for the 30-year-old pilot’s heart. Despite the fact that Weber proposed during the climax, the couple broke up shortly after production ended. “I haven’t spoken to him since everyone else saw me speak to him the last time.” She told Us, “There’s nothing to say about my ex-fiancé,” presumably referring to their tense argument on the After the Final Rose Special. “I’ve made my own life, and you know, life moves on.”
Moving on for Sluss entails leaving The Bachelor franchise behind. She admitted, “I haven’t really seen the show in years.” “My season was the last one I paid attention to.”
