Connor Paolo born July 11, 1990, is an actor from the United States. He is best known for playing Eric van der Woodsen on The CW’s teen drama Gossip Girl and Declan Porter on ABC’s thriller Revenge. In addition, he has acted in two Oliver Stone films, Alexander 2004 and World Trade Center 2005.

In an episode of Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, he played a teenage murderer-rapist. He made his film debut as a young Jimmy in Clint Eastwood’s Oscar-nominated Mystic River. In 2004, Paolo played Travis O’Connell, a recurrent character on One Life to Live.
Paolo also made a cameo in Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, where he played a disturbed adolescent based on the true story of Justin Berry. Other films include Oliver Stone’s World Trade Center from 2006, David Gordon Green’s Snow Angels, and Favorite Son, his first main role.
Paolo has worked in theater and advertising in the past. He has performed on Broadway in the blockbuster musical The Full Monty and off-Broadway in a performance of Shakespeare’s Richard III at the New York Public Theater. In a shortened version of Shakespeare’s Midsummer Night’s Dream, he played Bottom.
Paolo had a supporting role in The CW’s Gossip Girl from 2007 to 2011, in which he played Eric van der Woodsen, the brother of the main character Serena van der Woodsen. In the sixth season, he made his last appearance.
In 2010, he co-starred in Jim Mickle’s vampire apocalypse flick Stake Land. Paolo joins the cast of ABC’s dramatic series Revenge in April 2011. Paolo announced in August 2011 that he would be taking on the new series Revenge full-time and that his Gossip Girl character Eric van der Woodsen would no longer feature on the show. He did, however, make appearances in the series finale of Gossip Girl. After his character was written off the second season finale, Paolo left Payback in May 2013.
Paolo was cast in the Chris Blake quarantine comedy Distancing Socially in 2020, according to Variety. The film was shot using remote technology and the iPhone 11 during the peak of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020. Cinedigm acquired the film and will distribute it in October 2021.
