Jocelyn Aloha Pumehana Alo is a college softball player for the Oklahoma Sooners in the United States. She was voted NFCA National Freshman of the Year and a first-team All-American as a freshman in 2018. In 2021 and 2022, she was named USA Softball Collegiate Player of the Year.
Alo’s 40-game hitting streak came to an end on April 3, 2021, when she went 0-for-1 with two walks in the game. Her hitting streak was the second-longest in Oklahoma history, falling three games short of Sara Graziano’s NCAA Division I record of 43 games set in 1994.

When Jocelyn Alo was still in high school, she began playing softball. Her team won three state championships, and two times she was named State High School Player of the Year.
Levi Alo, Jocelyn’s father, was a football player, and Andrea Alo, Jocelyn’s mother, was a college softball player. Alo is one of her parents’ four children; she has three sisters, Sabrina, Sophia, and Lorraine.
She hit her 96th career home run on March 11, 2022, during the Rainbow Wahine Classic in her home state of Hawaii, setting a new NCAA record, surpassing Lauren Chamberlain’s previous mark. She batted.476 in the regular season, with 24 home runs, 11 doubles, and 61 RBIs, including two grand slams. She ranked first in the country in slugging percentage 1.163 and on-base percentage (.634), and second in batting average 497 in home runs.

She was selected Big 12 Player of the Year and USA Softball Collegiate Player of the Year after another stellar season. She was also named to the All-American first team by a unanimous vote.
