Rick Ness Early Life And Career
Rick had a good career as a musician and a member of The.357 String Band before becoming famous with Gold Rush. For a while, he shared the stage with guitarists Billy Cook and Derek W. Dunn, as well as banjoist Joseph Huber and others.
The.357 String Band, dubbed a streetgrass band, had a lot of popularity in Wisconsin and abroad. However, the band disbanded in the early 2010s, much to the dismay of fans.
Rick was a dedicated football player before pursuing his passion for music. However, after suffering a brain injury, his hopes of becoming a professional football player were dashed. Some speculate that Rick used music as a method of escape at first.
Rick has had to deal with a number of tragedies in his life, including the untimely end to his football career. Judy Marie Bedard, the Gold Rush star’s mother, died in 2018.
