Robin René Roberts is an American television broadcaster who was born on November 23, 1960. ABC’s Good Morning America is hosted by Roberts. Roberts was the first woman of color to host the American TV game show Jeopardy!, as well as the first openly LGBTQ+ woman.
Roberts worked as a sports anchor for local TV and radio stations after growing up in Mississippi and attending Southeastern Louisiana University. Roberts worked as an ESPN sportscaster for 15 years, from 1990 until 2005. In 2005, she joined Good Morning America as a co-anchor. Although Robin and Amber have yet to declare if they plan to marry in the future, their love is undeniably stronger than ever.
