Sadio Mané (born 10 April 1992) is a Senegalese footballer who currently plays as a winger for Liverpool in the Premier League and for the Senegalese national team. Mané was fourth in the 2019 Ballon d’Or voting, fifth in the Best FIFA Men’s Player voting in 2019, and fourth in 2020.
Mané began his professional career at the age of 19 with Ligue 2 club Metz but left after only one season to join the Austrian club Red Bull Salzburg in 2012 for a cost of €4 million, winning the league and cup domestic double in 2013–14. Career
Mané was born in Bambali, Senegal’s Sédhiou region.
