Who Is Trixie Mattel's Boyfriend?

Brian Michael Firkus born August 23, 1989, better known by his stage name Trixie Mattel, is a Milwaukee, Wisconsin-born American drag queen, television personality, singer-songwriter, comedian, and entrepreneur.

Her exaggerated, high-camp style and a blend of comedy and acoustic pop have made her famous. She won the third season of RuPaul’s Drag Race All-Stars in 2018, after first participating in the seventh season of the drag competition RuPaul’s Drag Race in 2015.

How Trixie Mattel Met Her Long-Time Boyfriend, David Silver

David Silver and Trixie Mattel have been dating since 2016. They may not be open about their relationship, but fans were given a glimpse into their personal lives in Mattel’s Netflix documentary Trixie Mattel: Moving Parts. Silver is clearly the entertainer’s devoted and supportive partner.

He isn’t, however, a typical stage boyfriend. Silver has worked as a crew member on prominent Hollywood films such as Batman Begins and The Break-Up, starring Jennifer Aniston and Vince Vaughn, for over 15 years.

The drag queen singing competition Queen of the Universe premiered in December 2021, with Mattel serving as one of the key judges. Laganja Estranja, a fellow drag race alumnus, choreographed the song video. “With “Hello Hello,” Mattel advances her case for pop star status – complex choreography, suave backing dancers, expressive makeup, and a dazzling mini-dress,” remarked Joseph Longo of Them.

On January 28, 2022, she released the single “This Town,” starring Shakey Graves, as well as the announcement of her fourth studio album, The Blonde & Pink Albums, a double album. On April 15, 2022, the third single “C’mon, Loretta” was published, with the entire 14-track album to follow in summer 2022.
