Who Was Jeff Kay? How Did He Die?

Netflix’s “Cobra Kai” is a follow-up to the famous “Karate Kid” movies and a spin-off series in its own right. The series takes place 34 years after Daniel LaRusso (Ralph Macchio) beat Johnny Lawrence (William Zabka) in the 1984 All-Valley Karate Tournament. At first, it’s about Johnny’s efforts to bring back the dojo’s name. The original movies showed things from Goku’s point of view, but “Cobra Kai” shows things from Johnny’s point of view. But as time goes on and characters like John Kreese and Terry Silver show up again, Cobra Kai once again becomes a bad group.

“Playing with Fire,” the third episode of the fifth season of “Cobra Kai,” is a tribute to Jeff Kay. Here is all the information you need about Jeff Kay.
