Ray Singleton was born in Charleston, South Carolina. He is a singer, songwriter, musician, rapper, and producer. He went to Winthrop University in Rock Hill, South Carolina, and got his Bachelor’s degree in theater and his Master’s degree in counselor education from the same school.

Ray and Roslyn Singleton were married. The wedding took place in 2016. She was in the Navy, and on their first date, she told him that she has brain cancer. Roslyn was getting treatment for a big brain tumor as she was coming back from Afghanistan. Six years went by without her having cancer, but in 2019, a second tumor was found.

Ray put up a video of him serenading Roslyn before she had surgery for her cancer, which made her famous. The video went viral, and in 2020, the two went on The Ellen DeGeneres Show.

She was the honorary survivorship chair for Relay for Life for Charlotte, a non-profit that works to fight cancer. She was a blogger from Charlotte, USA, and a Chick Mission ambassador.

Since 2017, this non-profit has been working to help cancer patients keep their future family options open.
