Daisy-Head, an English actress, doesn’t have much of a social media presence – her Instagram profile just has one photograph, and her Twitter feed is mostly devoted to a retweet of her work on Guilt, a 2015 Freeform mystery series in which she appeared. However, with the April 23rd release of Netflix’s eagerly awaited new fantasy series Shadow and Bone, those social media profiles are expected to get more pings and reams of new followers.
The Shadow and Bone cast digs deep into new, diverse faces, many of them English, in order to fill the enormous universe of Ravka and the Grishaverse. Jesse Mei Li and Ben Barnes, as Alina Starkov and General Krigan/The Darkling, are upfront, as are Jesse Mei Li and Ben Barnes. Shadow and Bone, like Game of Thrones before it, appears to be characterized mostly by its central characters. Daisy-Head has a role in all of this.

IN THE SHADOW AND BONE CAST, WHO PORTRAYS DAISY’S HEAD?
Genya Safin, who portrays the Queen of Ravka’s tailor, is played by Head. Genya becomes crucial to Alina’s fate as the Sun Summoner, thanks to her magical abilities and access to the land’s elite and power.
DAISY-HEAD HAS BEEN SEEN IN WHAT ELSE?
In the fifth edition of the Underworld film franchise, Blood Wars, released in 2016, Head portrayed a Death Dealer. She’s built her name in British dramas like Doctors, The Syndicate, and Doc Martin, but it’s on television that she’s truly made her impact. Head landed the part of Genya on Shadow and Bone after her major performance in Guilt. She also appeared in season 3 of the Hulu period drama Harlots.
On April 23rd, Netflix will release Shadow and Bone.
