Moving beyond that, all eyes are on Southern Charm Season 9, with many eagerly anticipating the latest developments. The premiere episode of ‘Southern Charm’ featured a heated exchange between Taylor and Craig about Shep, generating significant interest. In this article, we’ll delve into the details of this season.
Southern Charm Season 9 Premiere: Rising Tensions And Changing Relationships
In the Season 9 premiere, tensions flared between Craig Conover and Taylor Ann Green, who felt Craig had not supported her during her breakup with Shep Rose or when her ex showed interest in someone else. As we return to Charleston, Austen Kroll’s involvement with Shep Rose’s former flame, Taylor Ann Green, has caused significant ripples within the Southern Charm friend group.
Before this, Taylor had been expressing her enjoyment of single life to Olivia Flowers, who is Austen’s ex. “The breakups with Shep and Austen kind of brought Taylor and me closer,” Olivia explained in a confessional interview. “They’re pretty much inseparable at this point. Neither of us has experienced being single in this town before, so we’re navigating it together.” Olivia, 31, and Taylor, 28, even went rollerblading together. “She’s like a sister to me,” Taylor told the cameras. “Ride or die.”
During their rollerblading outing, Taylor shared with Olivia her appreciation for not having to answer to anyone else anymore. “It’s nice not to have to worry about somebody,” Taylor remarked. “I feel like I’m still catching my breath after Shep.” Olivia recalled that things took a turn with Austen after their time together in New York City.
“When we returned from New York, he kept telling me to give him a chance to be the guy I knew and thought he was,” she explained in a confessional interview. “I said, ‘Okay,’ and then, not even a week later, he told me his feelings had changed.” Taylor confided in Olivia that, while she’ll “always cherish the time” she had with Shep, the rapid deterioration of their relationship was incredibly challenging for her.

“I was in love with Shep, and I wanted to commit fully, no reservations—let’s get married, let’s start a family, let’s do all these things,” Taylor confessed. “Even after Shep and I broke up, I still wanted to make things work. But he told me, ‘I will not change.'”
Meanwhile, Shep, who had been traveling to South Africa and Australia with Austen, returned to town hoping he and Taylor could salvage a friendship. “I loved getting away from Charleston, but I’d be lying if I said Taylor wasn’t on my mind at least a few times a day,” Shep admitted in a confessional. “I don’t know if time has healed anything for Taylor, but I hope she’s willing to try to patch things up and be friends.”
