The Wheel Of Time Highest Audience
According to the business, “The Wheel of Time” had the highest average audience demand of any new series in the United States in the first 30 days after its release last year. During its first 30 days, the show was 43.2 times more popular in the United States than the average series, beating out Netflix’s “Arcane” and Disney+’s “The Book of Boba Fett.”
Parrot Analytics tracks audience demand, which shows a series’ engagement, interest, and general popularity.
The success of “The Wheel of Time” bodes well for Amazon’s upcoming fantasy series, “The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power,” which will premiere in September.
The “Lord of the Rings” trilogy has a lot riding on it. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Amazon is paying $465 million on the first season alone, including $250 million for the rights.
With the mature superhero series “The Boys,” which returns for a third season this year, the sci-fi series “The Expanse,” which recently wrapped up its final season, and “Invincible,” an animated superhero series that’s been renewed for a second season, Amazon has found success in other genre TV shows.

In Q4 2021, “The Wheel of Time” increased Amazon Prime Video’s platform demand share for original programming in the United States. In the quarter, Prime Video narrowly outperformed Disney+, with 8.9% of the demand share to Disney+’s 8.1 percent.
Netflix maintained its dominance with 43.6 percent of platform demand share, despite the fact that its market share has been declining in recent years as more streaming competitors have appeared.
