Paris Winningham was the first victim of Team Blake. Jim and Sasha Allen were Team Ariana’s runners-up.

Then Gwen Stefani came out on stage with Carson and her husband Blake Shelton to introduce Carter Rubin, the season 19 winner, who played his new single “Horoscope.”

The results were revealed following some behind-the-scenes bloopers of Ariana at The Voice. Team Kelly’s Girl Named Tom was up next to be examined.

Carson promoted the forthcoming NBC musical Annie, and then the Top 8 was revealed when Wendy Moten of Team Blake and Joshua Vacanti of Team Legend made it through.

Mae Muller, Neiked, and Polo G performed “Better Days” on The Voice, although Mae was the only one on stage.

Lana Scott of Team Blake and Hailey Mia of Team Kelly were the final two to make it through based on America’s Monday night vote.

The Instant Save was represented by Holly Forbes, Jeremy Rosado, and Jershika Maple.

For his opportunity to stay in the competition, Jeremy sang Rascal Flatts’ “What Hurts the Most.”

Next, Holly performed “Because of You” by Kelly Clarkson.

“This doesn’t make any sense to me,” Ariana explained. I say this with great affection, but you’ve always been a vocal powerhouse. Every week, you’ve given us some of the best singing we’ve ever heard.”

Jershika sang the Empire cast as well as V. Bozeman’s “What Is Love” in the final performance.
