Hewlett Packard Enterprise, famously known as HP, has just unveiled a new series of laptops, all-in-one desktops and displays. The common specialty of all these new products, under the HP Healthcare Edition, is that they are all germicide-resistant.

These laptops, desktops, and displays are capable of protecting themselves against powerful cleaning materials. These new products have been specially designed to be used in medical facilities and hospitals.

This firm has named this new line-up HP Healthcare Edition, as mentioned earlier. The experts have created it to particularly “address the next generation of patient care,” informed the company.

HP has developed these machines keeping the unique healthcare needs in mind. Apart from that, these systems are well equipped with enhanced features and technologies, which will prove to be of help for the healthcare professionals in their field of work.

Under its HP Healthcare Edition, the tech giant has revealed three new devices and they are HP EliteBook 840 GS Healthcare Edition, HP EliteOne 800 G4 23.8 Healthcare Edition All-in-One, and HP Healthcare Edition HC270cr Clinical Review Display.

The notebook, HP EliteBook 840, from the line-up comes equipped with HP Easy Clean software.

It allows users to disable the touchscreen and keyboard while wiping it with germicidal wipes.

Add to that, EliteBook 840 is also the first notebook by HP for healthcare that has the integrated RFID and biometrics for single sign-on authentication. Its touchpad can recognize touch input even when the user has his/her surgical gloves on.

According to the company, the notebook will be made available from May this year, while the other devices will hit the market in June 2018.

All of the machines are protected against from such cleaning methods. The company aims to stop the spread of infections related to healthcare.
