For the last couple of weeks, the vice president of Lenovo has been building up a lot of anticipation regarding the upcoming flagship smartphone of the company. We have already seen the Lenovo Z5 teasers and it is expected that the smartphone will come with top features, the ones that we haven’t experienced on any smartphone as of yet. Now, finally, Lenovo has confirmed that they are going to hold an event at Beijing in China on June 5 and this is where the Lenovo Z5 will be officially unveiled.
Initially, it was expected that the company will launch the Lenovo Z5 on June 14. However, now the tech giant has confirmed the launch date on Weibo and it’s June 5. Lenovo’s official account, on the Chinese social networking site, posted the information about the event. It is slated to begin at 2 pm CST on the said date.
The teasers, which we have seen till now, have revealed that the Lenovo Z5 will feature an entirely bezel-less display and will not have any notch at the top or bottom. The company claims that the smartphone will boast an AI-controlled dual camera at the back of it. It is also expected that the Lenovo flagship smartphone model will arrive with a gigantic 4TB of storage; all thanks to “particle technology”. According to Cheng, with this astronomical amount of storage, the smartphone will be able to store 2,000 HD movies, 150,000 lossless music files as well as 1 million photos.
Add to that, a recent teaser also shows that the mobile phone will offer up to 45 days of standby time. While the standby time, no doubt, is quite impressive, the question remains as to how much it can survive voice calls, video playback or Web browsing. The price and more details about the Lenovo Z5 will be disclosed at the launch.
