Polizzi debuted a new Channel 5 series, Alex Polizzi’s Secret Italy, in October 2014, in which she visits lesser-known parts of Italy or well-known towns and cities and, through local contacts, highlights regions that tourists would not normally see. Polizzi started in October 2014 that she will host a new BBC Two program called Alex Polizzi: Chefs on Trial, in which she would tour various cuisine establishments. On April 20, 2015, the series premiered.
Polizzi released Spectacular Spain with Alex Polizzi in March 2017 and Our Dream Hotel on June 6. She persuaded her Irish brother-in-law, restaurateur Oliver Peyton, to join her in a new Channel 5 series called Peyton And Polizzi’s Restaurant Rescue, where they combine their knowledge to play firefighters and turn around failing restaurants, which premiered in February 2018.
Alex Polizzi: My Hotel Nightmare was broadcast on Channel 5 in August 2021, and it followed the refurbishment of The Star preparatory to its launch amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

She was raised as a Roman Catholic and attended the Church of the Virgin Birth on Farm Street in London “every Sunday of her childhood.”
Politics Polizzi supports the Leave side in the 2016 British referendum on EU membership, but she has expressed fear that Brexit could jeopardize the restaurant and hotel industry’s labor supply.
