Josh Altman’s Net Worth
Josh Altman is a $30 million real estate agent and reality television personality from the United States. Josh Altman is one of the most successful real estate brokers in the country, specialising in houses in the “Platinum Triangle” of Holmby Hills, Beverly Hills, and Bel Air.
Josh Altman was born in Newton, Massachusetts, on March 10, 1979. Josh grew up in a Jewish home and had his Bar Mitzvah both in the United States and in Israel. He attended Syracuse University after graduating from Newton South High School in 1997, where he got a degree in Speech Communications (in 2001) while also playing kicker for the school’s football team. He was absent from all of the school’s games. Josh relocated to Los Angeles after graduating from Syracuse and began his real estate career by flipping residences.
Josh began his career as an investor and property flipper. Altman was able to flip eight residences without ever losing money. He ran a real estate finance company for three years before joining his brother, Matt Altman, at the real estate agency Hilton & Hyland to form The Altman Brothers. The firm specialises in selling homes in Beverly Hills, Bel Air, and Holmby Hills, also known as the “golden triangle.” He and his brother sold nearly $100 million in real estate while running The Altman Brothers real estate brokerage. They represented actors, athletes, and other entertainment professionals. Altman sold $40 million worth of homes while at Hilton & Hyland, including a $16.5 million property in Beverly Hills. That sale ranks sixth all-time in Los Angeles.
Along with co-stars Josh Flagg and Madison Hildebrand, Altman appears in the reality television show Million Dollar Listing: Los Angeles. The show follows three Los Angeles real estate brokers as they sell high-end, astronomically expensive homes to celebrities and other wealthy individuals.
Josh Altman announced his engagement to Heather Bilyeu, his Million Dollar Listing co-star, in July 2013. They postponed their wedding but were able to sort things out. Alexis, their daughter, was born in April 2017 and Ace, their son, was born in 2019.
In addition, Altman has made guest appearances on episodes of the television series Keeping Up with the Kardashians, Giuliana & Bill, Money with Melissa Francis, The Meredith Vieira Show, The Real, FabLife, Hollywood Today Live, Watch What Happens: Live, Today, Harry, and Extra. He has also hosted an episode of the talk show Extra. In 2017, he put his own property in the Hollywood Hills up for sale with an asking price of $8 million. According to reports, he purchased the same home in 2014 for a price of $2.675 million and had been renting it out for $38,000 per month. The mansion is located on the same street as the residences of the actors Matthew Perry, Jennifer Aniston, and Megan Mullally. It’s Your Move: My Million Dollar Method for Taking Risks with Confidence and Succeeding in Work and Life was published in 2015 and was written by Altman.
