Nina Dobrev was born Nikolina Konstantinova Dobreva on January 9, 1989, in Sofia, Bulgaria. She relocated to Canada when she was a child. Her mother Michaela Dobreva, an artist, and father Kamen Dobrev, a computer specialist, reared her in Toronto. Aleksander Dobrev, her older brother, is her only sibling. Nina went to J.B.
