Garth became a Catholic before marrying Facinelli, but she is no longer a Catholic. He filed for divorce in 2018, but the couple reconciled, and he petitioned the court to dismiss the divorce case in February 2019. Garth was diagnosed with a leaking heart valve in 2002.
