Who Is Judi Dench Ex-Husband?
Michael grew up in Liverpool and went to RADA before starting a career on stage.
Michael got his first role in a movie in 1962, when he was 25 years old. This was the beginning of his move from TV to movies.
He went on to play leading roles in movies like Elizabeth R, Educating Rita, Henry V, and more.
Michael met and married Judi in 1971. They had worked together in a play called The Duchess of Malfi by John Webster.

Michael Williams died of lung cancer on January 11, 2001. It was a sad end to his life.
The day before, on January 9, Pope John Paul II gave Michael the title of Knight of St. Gregory for his work for the Catholic church.
Dench talked about her late husband with David Tennant in his podcast, David Tennant Does a Podcast.
She said, “He was the most selfless person I’ve ever met, and he would never put that down to anything between us… Oh, he used to make me laugh so much!
“He used to make me laugh so hard I would cry.”
Judi also said that she hasn’t fully gotten over Michael’s death and still thinks that Michael’s ghost visits her often at the house they used to share.
Judi said on That Gaby Roslin Podcast, “His presence is very strong in our house, our garden, and everywhere else.”
She then said that once, when she felt Michael’s spirit in the house, she found a tin on the floor in front of her that said “I love you” on the top.
She also said, “Even if people say it’s all in your head, I think things like that just happen at the right time.”

Is Judi Dench Dating Someone?
Judi will be 88 years old in December. She has never been married, but she has been with her partner, David Mills, since 2010. They supposedly talked about getting married, but then decided it wasn’t for them.
David told Good Housekeeping Magazine, “We talked about getting married, but I think we’re better off as we are, since we have two separate houses and live four miles apart.”
Judi added, “He’s not going to ask her to marry him. No, no, no, no, no. Grow up, people!”
Judi told Good Housekeeping that she doesn’t like the word “partner.” Instead, she calls her boyfriend her “chap.” She said, “I don’t know what the word is because I don’t like the word “partner.” Partner is something to do with dancing. Partner is a horrible word. Friend? No. Boyfriend? No. Chap? Will chap do?”
