Teoscar Hernandez Professional Life
Hernández joined the Houston Astros in February 2011 as a free agent from outside the United States. That year, he got his first job with the Astros in the Dominican Summer League.
In 2012, Hernández played for the Rookie League team Gulf Coast Astros and the Class-A South Atlantic League team Lexington Legends. He played in 59 games, and his average at bat was.243. He hit five home runs, was responsible for 23 runs being scored, and stole 11 bases.
