Laurence Paul Fox born in 1978, is an English actor and political activist who starred in the British TV drama series Lewis as DS James Hathaway from 2006 until 2015.
Fox, the grandson of performers Robin and Angela Fox and a graduate of the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, had his screen debut in The Hole 2001 and has since acted in a number of films, television shows, and theater performances. His debut album, Holding Patterns, was published in February 2016, and he is also a singer-songwriter and guitarist.
