Upload is a popular TV series with three main characters expected to return for the next season. Robbie Amell plays Nathan, a tech genius who died but is now kind of back to life and living in the real world. Andy Allo plays Nora, a virtual reality worker who joined an anti-tech group called The Ludds but eventually became a leader of the anarchist movement. Allegra Edwards plays Ingrid, Nathan’s ex-girlfriend, who goes to great lengths to remain close to him, including pretending to be uploaded into the virtual reality of Lakeview.

Other potential returning characters include Kevin Bigley as Nathan’s best friend Luke, Owen Daniels as the long-standing AI Guy, and Zainab Johnson as Nora’s friend Aleesha, who works as an “upload angel” and may be conflicted in her loyalties.

According to Variety, Jeanine Mason has joined the cast for season three as Karina Silva, a charming senior executive at Horizen responsible for new product development and cybersecurity. Mason is best known for her work in the TV show “Roswell, New Mexico,” as well as other popular shows like “Grey’s Anatomy,” “Trolls: TrollsTopia,” and “Grace and Frankie.” She also won the fifth season of the reality competition series “So You Think You Can Dance” on Fox.
