Elise Ecklund Clarified Misinformation About Kidz Bop Ownership
Elise Ecklund, a YouTuber and content creator, posted a video where she searched ‘Who owns Kidz Bop’. However, the search results falsely listed her as the owner of the music brand, although it is unclear how and why her name appeared in that section.
Elise took to Twitter to address the false information that named her as the owner of Kidz Bop. Sharing a screenshot of the search interface with the brand’s trademark color and name, which also displayed the establishment date as 2001, Ecklund expressed her disbelief and humorously joked that Kidz Bop might sue her.
She also created a YouTube short video where she mentioned that she did not know who set up the page and initially thought it was a joke. Ecklund clarified that she does not own Kidz Bop, which is a multi-million dollar establishment, and expressed her concern that the joke had gone too far. Towards the end of the video, she admitted to feeling anxious about the situation.
The issue has since been resolved, and her name no longer appears on the page. It appears that the false information was due to an online mistake.
