As a result of the sale of her Skinnygirl Cocktails business and her numerous appearances on numerous reality television shows, her net worth has grown significantly over the past decade. Bethenny Frankel Early Life & Career

Frankel was born in New York City on November 4th, 1970. Mother Bernadette Birk was a designer and her father Robert J. Frankel was a trainer, therefore she came from a well-educated family. John Parisella, a horse trainer, was Frankel’s mother’s new husband when she was just five years old. Prior to joining boarding school, Frankel relocated multiple times and attended different schools throughout her youth. The Pine Crest School in Fort Lauderdale, Florida; the Natural Gourmet Institute in New York; Boston University for two years; and New York University for her bachelor’s degree in psychology and communications.

In 1992, Frankel moved to Los Angeles with the hope of pursuing her dream of acting. Acting roles for Paris Hilton and Jerry and Linda Bruckheimer helped her make connections, and she leveraged those connections to create her first company, In Any Event, a short-lived event-planning agency.

BethennyBakes, Frankel’s company that offers ‘healthy’ baked goods and meal delivery services in New York City, was established in 2003. Martha Stewart made it to the finals of The Apprentice: Martha Stewart in 2005 when it was featured in the reality competition series. Even though the company went out of business in 2006, Frankel’s appearance on the reality competition show signaled the beginning of her reality show career.

The Real Housewives of New York City cast her as a member in 2008. After a three-season hiatus due to personal circumstances, she returned to the Real Housewives of Atlanta in 2014. For the second time, she left the show in August of 2019 to devote more attention to her personal life.

A Bravo reality show about Frankel and her then-husband Jason Hoppy’s engagement, marriage, and the birth of their daughter, named Bethenny Getting Married? aired in 2008. Negotiations to have her host a talk show began in 2011 and she now has her own show. However, on February 14, 2014, it was announced that The Bethenny Show, which debuted on September 9, 2013, will be canceled.

First husband: Peter Sussman, an executive in the entertainment industry, whom she married in 1996 and later divorced. Bethenny’s second marriage to pharmaceutical sales professional Jason Hoppy was documented in the documentary Getting Married? Hoppy and Frankel divorced in December 2012, and Frankel filed for divorce in January 2013. Since their divorce was finalized in July 2016, even if Page Six revealed in August 2019 that Hoppy and Frankel were married, they were divorced in July 2016. Hoppy and Frankel had a child together, a girl they named Frankel’s daughter.
