WhatsApp had started off as an instant messaging platform. Gradually it incorporated group chat and then voice and video calling. Now, it’s been a while since those features were introduced. The stickers feature was already noticed just about last month in a WhatsApp beta version, where it was seen that the messaging app will now have a sticker store, from where users will be able to get more stickers. Since Facebook Messenger already integrates stickers’ it won’t be a stretch to expect that the firm’s other messaging app will get the same soon.

Stickers are essentially nothing but bigger emojis. Several messaging apps, like LINE, have already made it a good business by selling them and letting the users creating their very own customized stickers and sell them too. However, it is not clear as of now whether or not WhatsApp stickers will take the same path as that of LINE. Considering the fact that Messenger’s stickers are free; it is expected that it will be the same with WhatsApp as well.
