The Milwaukee Bucks’ Grayson Allen is a 3-and-D specialist. While he hasn’t been quite the star in the league as he was with the Blue Devils, the Duke graduate has proven to be a valuable role player. Regardless of what others think of him and his unconventional on-court techniques, he has proven to be a valuable member of the Bucks’ roster.
Allen recently got engaged to Morgan Reid, a fellow Duke alum. We’ll look at some interesting facts and trivia regarding Morgan, as well as her relationship with Grayson Allen, in this article.
Who Is Grayson Allen’s Girlfriend, Morgan Reid?
Morgan Reid is a defender in the sport of soccer. In 2020, she played for the Orlando Pride of the National Women’s Soccer League.
Reid was born in Cleveland, Ohio on June 13, 1995, and grew up in Cary, North Carolina. She used to play both soccer and basketball as a kid. She was a two-time MVP as the point guard for Cardinal Gibbons High School, and she was also good enough to play for the United States Soccer Youth National Team. Reid also represented the United States at the 2012 FIFA Under-17 Women’s World Cup in Azerbaijan, and went on to play for the United States under-20s.

She also led her high school to the 2013 State Championship and was named No. 1 in the South Atlantic Region when she graduated.
Reid enrolled at Duke University to study evolutionary anthropology. She was a starter for the entire time she was a Blue Devil. In her final year, the defender even assisted her squad earn a school-record 18 clean sheets. Throughout her time at Duke, she wore the number 24.
Reid was picked with the 38th overall pick by the North Carolina Courage following graduation. She never made it off the bench for the Courage, unfortunately.
In return for a fourth-round pick, the Orlando Pride would trade for her. In 2019, she’ll make her Pride debut and first professional start. After missing the 2020 season due to injury, she was waived. As of this writing, she has yet to be plucked from the waiver wire.
Morgan Reid, a professional athlete and model, is particularly active on Instagram and Twitter, where she posts frequently alongside her boyfriend, Grayson Allen.
How did the couple met?
They met and started their freshman years at Duke University at the same time in 2014. They wouldn’t make their romance public until November 2018, the same year Grayson Allen was chosen into the NBA.

As you’ll see later, the two aren’t hesitant about their love on social media. Reid, in example, has a large amount of images of herself with Allen on her Instagram profile.
Both are also supportive of one other’s athletic endeavors. Here’s a photo of Allen with Reid from her time with the Orlando Pride on Instagram. Meanwhile, Reid expressed her support for Allen in this piece, which was written while he was recovering from a hip injury.
They are also frequently photographed with their dog, Teddy. On Allen’s account, here’s the first photo of the pair with Teddy, in which he wishes Reid a happy birthday. Morgan’s Instagram also has a photo of their dog.

When Reid and Allen upload images together, the most common topic is them on vacation. This is one such image, taken on a summer lake, albeit it has been tainted by some hate comments directed towards Allen and his on-court problems. Back in 2021, the two were photographed on a hike in Breckenridge, Colorado.
Their most recent Instagram photo together, though, has gotten the most attention. Allen is finally proposing to his college girlfriend on the beach in this photo. To make things even more romantic, the couple shared identical images with the text “My forever person.” Reid’s post can be seen here, while Allen’s post can be found here. Last February 24, the couple announced their happy news to the globe. Congratulations to the two athletes, who have not yet announced their wedding date.
