Morgan Reid is a defender in the sport of soccer. In 2020, she played for the Orlando Pride of the National Women’s Soccer League.

Reid was born in Cleveland, Ohio on June 13, 1995, and grew up in Cary, North Carolina. She used to play both soccer and basketball as a kid. She was a two-time MVP as the point guard for Cardinal Gibbons High School, and she was also good enough to play for the United States Soccer Youth National Team. Reid also represented the United States at the 2012 FIFA Under-17 Women’s World Cup in Azerbaijan, and went on to play for the United States under-20s.

She also led her high school to the 2013 State Championship and was named No. 1 in the South Atlantic Region when she graduated.

Reid enrolled at Duke University to study evolutionary anthropology. She was a starter for the entire time she was a Blue Devil. In her final year, the defender even assisted her squad earn a school-record 18 clean sheets. Throughout her time at Duke, she wore the number 24.

Reid was picked with the 38th overall pick by the North Carolina Courage following graduation. She never made it off the bench for the Courage, unfortunately.

In return for a fourth-round pick, the Orlando Pride would trade for her. In 2019, she’ll make her Pride debut and first professional start. After missing the 2020 season due to injury, she was waived. As of this writing, she has yet to be plucked from the waiver wire.

Morgan Reid, a professional athlete and model, is particularly active on Instagram and Twitter, where she posts frequently alongside her boyfriend, Grayson Allen.

How did the couple met?

They met and started their freshman years at Duke University at the same time in 2014. They wouldn’t make their romance public until November 2018, the same year Grayson Allen was chosen into the NBA.
