Pretty Little Liars Original Sin: Premiere Date, Cast, And Everything You Need to Know!

Aria (Lucy Hale), Emily (Shay Mitchell), Hanna (Ashley Benson), and Spencer (Troian Bellisario) were four friends living in a tiny Pennsylvania town when their fifth friend, Alison (Sasha Pieterse), went missing one summer. The girls would be harassed for the following seven seasons by a mysterious figure known only as “A,” who knew all of their darkest secrets and had no qualms about revealing them.

Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin, a remake for HBO Max, is now available. The new series follows a different cast of individuals in a different setting, but based on what we’ve seen so far, it looks to be just as insane as the original. So, get your notebooks ready, for it’s time to figure out who A is once more.

Premise

In September 2020, the project received a 10-episode direct-to-series order from Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa (Riverdale, Chilling Adventures of Sabrina) and Lindsay Calhoon Bring (Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, Frequency).

The drama is set in the same universe as the original, according to the HBO Max press statement. “A series of tragic events nearly tore the blue-collar town of Millwood apart twenty years ago,” it continues. Now, in the current day, a new batch of Little Liars is tormented by an unknown Assailant and forced to pay for the secret sin committed by their parents two decades ago…as well as their own. We find ourselves miles away from Rosewood, but within the current Pretty Little Liars universe — in a brand-new town, with a new generation of Little Liars — in the dark, coming-of-age, horror-tinged drama Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin.
