Brian Dorow, who used to work for Homeland Security, is married to Judge Dorow. He used to be an officer of the law. He went to school at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
Dorow’s husband is the “Chief Homeland Security Enterprise Advisor” for Mitre in McLean, Virginia, according to his LinkedIn page.
Before that, he was president and CEO of a security company in Waukesha, deputy assistant secretary for the U.S. Department of Homeland Security in Washington, D.C., dean of the Criminal Justice, Homeland Security, and County Terrorism program at Waukesha County Technical College, and a police supervisor for the City of Waukesha Police Department.
In a special election in 2015, he also ran for a state Senate seat in the 33rd District. He wants to open a firing range in the town of Delafield. The common council gave him permission to do this last spring.

In December 2011, Scott Walker put Jennifer on the Waukesha County bench. Since then, she has been re-elected twice, in 2012 and 2018. Her term will end in 2024.

The trial for the Waukesha Christmas Parade is Dorow’s first case that has gotten a lot of attention from the media.
She is, however, in charge of the case of a teenager who is accused of robbing and sexually abusing an 87-year-old grandmother outside the Waukesha Public Library late last year. This happened right after the parade was attacked.
She has also been in charge of other cases that were important to the area. For example, a possible Waukesha County juror left jury duty early because he didn’t feel safe with the COVID-19 rules that were in place at the time.
The parade attack trial will probably last until October 28. Because there were so many witnesses, the prosecutors thought it would take them five to seven days to make their case. Dorow decided that each witness will be kept apart from the other witnesses in the case until they have given their own testimony. This means that victims who haven’t yet testified won’t be able to come to the trial.
